In April 2019, while still pursuing my business degree, I co-founded Adgo Interactive with Ahnaf from a small one-room office. Driven by a curiosity for real-world experience, our vision was to build a 360-degree digital marketing agency that blended technology, data, and design. Initially, as a two-person team, I wore multiple hats, handling everything from web development and business development to account management, paid media buying, social media strategy, and marketing analysis, while Ahnaf focused on production and design.
As we secured our first few clients and the team began to grow, my role evolved. I specialized in developing data-driven Social Media Strategies, managing Paid Media Buying, and conducting in-depth Marketing Analytics. I thrived on creating comprehensive marketing strategies across various channels, collaborating closely with our creative and sales teams to meet campaign objectives and elevate our clients' overall brand positioning. Over my 4.5 years at Adgo, I managed relationships for 18 key clients, fostering long-term partnerships through consistent updates and strategic guidance.
My expertise in paid media was built through self-paced learning, including Facebook Blueprint and Google Digital Marketing certifications, combined with hands-on experience and iterative testing. This allowed me to execute and optimize digital advertising campaigns with budgets exceeding $100,000 across Meta Business Suite and Google Ads, delivering measurable results for reputable national clients. I enjoyed experimenting with audience segmentation and leveraging dynamic campaigns for targeted engagement and conversions.
My co-founder, Ahnaf, enjoyed the creative process of building brands from scratch, from mood boards to brand identity guidelines, and my analytical focus drew me to the strategic groundwork. I conducted thorough market research and competitor analysis to inform our brand strategies and target market recommendations. My responsibilities also briefly included SEO and SEM tasks, such as keyword analysis and collaborating with the content team to improve search positioning.
Leading a talented team of designers and content writers, we implemented the strategies I developed, navigating the exciting, fast-paced agency environment. Each month involved planning, from creating content calendars for retainer clients to launching targeted campaigns focused on lead generation, brand awareness, or conversions. My nearly four-and-a-half years at Adgo were a period of intense learning, leadership, and achieving tangible results for our clients through a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
